What You’ll Be Doing
As the HR Manager, you will lead and optimize our people functions to support our expanding team and business objectives. You'll build trusted relationships with leaders and employees, ensuring our HR strategies align with organizational goals. This role is crucial in driving our talent strategy, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting the growth and development of our team. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in West LA.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition and Management
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and extending offers to candidates
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding
- Develop and implement policies to enhance team effectiveness and overall employee well-being
- Oversee role and responsibility clarity across the organization, ensuring job descriptions and expectations are consistently defined and communicated
- Partner with department leads to support promotion calibration, leveling frameworks, and equitable career progression
Employee Relations and Development
- Build trusted relationships across all levels, providing HR advice and resolving employee issues
- Design and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and career development plans
- Promote a culture of continuous feedback and professional growth through training and development initiatives
- Design and facilitate manager training, coaching programs, and support systems to build leadership capability
- Lead initiatives around employee learning, including ongoing education such as lunch & learns, speaker series, and skills workshops
- Foster and support a culture aligned with HOCK values, ensuring they are reflected in people practices, recognition, and internal programs
- Own and lead impact initiatives (e.g., CBSS, Heal the Bay, Defy) that reflect our values, earth-sensitive, and community focus
Organizational Development and Strategy
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and address organizational challenges, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and update policies, procedures, and HR strategies to support company growth and employee satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on HR metrics (e.g., employee NPS, retention), using data to recommend improvements and support decision-making
- Own organizational design initiatives, including team structure planning, talent mapping, and workforce scaling strategies
- Plan and execute company retreats, all-hands meetings, and internal initiatives that drive culture, connection, and clarity
- Develop and lead internal communications strategy to ensure transparency, consistency, and engagement across teams
Compliance and Risk Management
- Oversee and enhance HR systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll) to maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor regulations and employment laws
- Maintain and regularly review employee handbooks, policies, and documentation to reflect current practices and legal standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in a startup or small business environment
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and programs that support business objectives
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and complex HR issues with discretion and professionalism
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities
- Strong team player and work ethic

What You’ll Be Doing
The SVP of Sales will be responsible for leading overall global sales strategy and execution across key markets, overseeing nation account management, international expansion, and the field sales team. This role will drive sell-in, sell-through, and assortment strategies, ensuring strong retailer and distributor partnerships while optimizing sales performance across all channels. They will manage and collaborate with the VP of Sales (US Region) and Chief Digital Officer (all ecomm channels) to ensure alignment across domestic and international markets.
This person will play a key role in expanding into new international markets while ensuring continued optimization of US performance. Additionally, they will lead the field sales team, focusing on training, education, and in-store execution to maximize sell-through and brand presence at the retail level.
This is a full-time role, with a hybrid work schedule based in West LA. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and oversee the VP of Sales (US Region), Director of Education, and the field team (currently a team of 5).
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Sales Performance
- Oversee and collaborate with the VP of Sales (US Region) and Chief Digital Officer to ensure cohesive execution across US retailers, wholesale partners, and international markets
- Drive sell-in and sell-through strategies, optimizing retailer partnerships to meet revenue and growth objectives
- Manage key retailer and wholesale relationships, ensuring that promotional and merchandising strategies drive brand visibility and sales performance
- Manage, rationalize and strategically develop product assortment and merchandising by channel to best optimize for promotion and revenue by channel
- Develop and optimize assortment strategies, ensuring product placement aligns with regional market demand, retailer needs, and sales trends
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align on retail initiatives, inventory planning, and promotional execution
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, leveraging data insights to drive account growth, refine pricing and promotional strategies, and improve profitability
International Expansion & Sales Strategy
- Identify and prioritize key international markets through in-depth research on competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, and consumer demand
- Develop and implement localized go-to-market strategies that drive scalable, profitable growth
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to align on logistics, compliance, and distribution strategies ahead of market entry
- Oversee the execution of new market launches, ensuring smooth, on-time implementation and effective retail and field sales activation
- Cultivate strong retailer and distributor relationships to drive in-market success and maximize brand visibility in new markets
- Partner with VP of Sales (US Region) to ensure alignment on sales planning, performance tracking, and best practices across international and domestic markets
- Manage international sales budgets and reporting, leveraging data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and improve efficiency
- Establish and monitor KPIs, using insights to optimize sales performance and inform future expansion strategies
Field Sales & Education
- Lead the field team, driving performance, training, and education efforts to maximize sell-through and in-store execution
- Oversee the Director of Education, ensuring impactful training programs that support sales channels and promote brand loyalty among retail partners and customers
- Ensure seamless execution of field sales initiatives, aligning with both domestic and international sales strategies
- Drive in-store excellence through merchandising, events, and customer engagement strategies to enhance brand presence and conversion
- Foster a high-performing sales culture with clear goals, accountability, and professional development for the field team
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience in the beauty or consumer goods industry, with a strong background in international markets and field sales management
- Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, manage distributor and retail partnerships, and drive sales execution across global and domestic markets
- Experience managing and scaling field sales teams, driving performance, education, and in-store execution
- Strong understanding of sell-in and sell-through strategies, retail dynamics, and omnichannel sales
- Demonstrated experience in managing sales budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to pivot and adapt to changing market conditions
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring lean, nimble sales teams and fostering a high-performance culture.

As a Manager of Influencer Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing influencer marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with target creator cohorts, and drive community growth. You will oversee all aspects of influencer campaigns and relationship building, including seeding and gifting initiatives, in-person creator meetings, and analytics tracking. You will play a key role in shaping the brand's online and creator presence and executing effective organic and paid campaigns across various platforms.
This is a full-time role with a hybrid work schedule based in West LA and will report directly to the Director of Influencer and Social.
Key Responsibilities
Influencer Strategy
- Develop and execute - concept, create, manage - a comprehensive influencer strategy aligned with Tower 28 Beauty's marketing objectives and target audiences
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor EMV-related metrics to track the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement
- Stay updated with social media and creator trends and best practices to ensure our brand remains at the forefront of industry developments
- Maintain consistency in brand messaging, voice, and aesthetics across all influencer touchpoints. Develop and enforce creator outreach and onboarding guidelines, ensuring compliance with brand values, tone, and visual identity
- Plan and execute influencer campaigns, including product launches, seeding and gifting initiatives, and paid collaborations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with marketing objectives
- Create engaging and sales-driving content with creator partners, both organic and paid, for various social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube)
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop strategies, mailers, buzz-worthy events, and targeted relationships that will enable the brand to grow brand awareness amongst key audiences and support brand retailers / DTC sales
Relationship Management
- Build and nurture a vast network of brand enthusiasts and ambassadors by consistently identifying, hosting, and educating influencers in-person. Monitor social media channels for influencer leads, questions, needs, rising stars, and areas for opportunity and proactively develop new relationships through these touchpoints, going above and beyond to surprise and delight
Analytics and Reporting
- Monitor EMV and community metrics, analyze campaign performance, and generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of influencer marketing efforts. Provide actionable recommendations to optimize seeding, sponsored content, and conversion rates
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate key insights, trends, and recommendations to the marketing team and senior management
Who You Are
- 3-5 years experience managing influencer marketing in-house at a high-growth beauty brand
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in creating and managing influencer and affiliate strategy, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry
- Proficiency in influencer tracking and benchmarking tools and platforms (e.g., Tribe Dynamics) and affiliate and gifting platforms (e.g., ShopMy, TikTok)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar, and ability to adapt to different brand tones
- Familiarity with social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
- Previous people management experience is a plus
- Open to wearing many hats to learn + grow within the organization (a ‘no task is too small’ spirit!)
- A highly detail-oriented taskmaster who loves a good checklist + challenge
