As the Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our wholesale and internal customers, working closely with the Manager of Operations. This role requires impeccable attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an ability to communicate directly and empathetically with a variety of stakeholders.

**This is a hybrid position based in Los Angeles, requiring IRL work multiple times a week.**

What You'll Be Doing:

Sales Order Fulfillment 

  • Coordinate the fulfillment of internal, DTC and wholesale orders with third party logistics 
  • Maintain pricing & assortments, enter orders, prioritize order fulfillment and inventory allocations for 3PL 
  • Maintain out of stock lists, coordinate order revisions due to back orders, verify pricing, schedule logistics as needed 
  • Coordinate invoicing with Accounting after fulfillment

Logistics

  • Coordinate pick up and delivery of inbound, outbound and drop shipments 
  • Verify deliveries, track shipments, request and provide PODs 

Purchasing

  • Enter purchase orders, goods receipts and transfer orders
  • Reconcile receiving discrepancies
  • Maintain open order report accuracy (update due dates/delivery dates, report issues)

Item Master Maintenance

  • Create and maintain item codes in ERP system
  • Assign UPCs and maintain accurate versions in system
  • Structure Bills of Material and control versioning
  • Set up items/SKUs with retail partners
Who You Are:
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a fulfillment or operations environment
  • A highly detail-oriented taskmaster who loves a good checklist + challenge
  • A problem-solver, easily identifying problems and proposing effective solutions
  • Process-oriented, able to connect the dots and understand the impact of your role on cross-functional areas of the business
  • Strong communicator, ability to raise and address issues cross-functionally

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of New Product Development and Creative projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, supply chain, and social, to ensure successful project outcomes and the achievement of business objectives. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, consistent, structured, and organized when taking on complex tasks and situations.

This position is based in Los Angeles and requires IRL work multiple times a week.

Key Duties:

Project Planning and Coordination

  • Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and lead project kick-off meetings, ensuring clear communication of project objectives, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions.

Project Execution and Monitoring

  • Oversee the execution of project activities, ensuring adherence to established timelines and budget constraints.
  • Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review project status, address issues, and foster collaboration among team members.

Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements, establish priorities, and manage expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Provide quality pre-read and presentations for the meetings (as needed).

Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze project performance, lessons learned, and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement process enhancements and best practices to streamline project management and increase operational efficiency.
  • Connect the dots - Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation, improve project outcomes, and proactively address internal and external factors which may impact project.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, project management, or a related field (relevant certifications are a plus).
  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management in the cosmetics industry or a related field 
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, software, tools and practices
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under 
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality control processes in the cosmetics industry.
  • Excellent and confident written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proactive and highly organized with strong follow up skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive growth. You will oversee all aspects of social media management, including content creation, community management, and analytics tracking. You will play a key role in shaping the brand's online presence and executing effective social media campaigns across various platforms.

This position is remote/in-office hybrid and is based in Century City, California. This role will report directly to the Director of Consumer Engagement and will manage our content interns. 

This role requires a creative mindset, a deep understanding of social media trends, strong communication skills, and a passion for the beauty industry. 

Key Duties:

Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and execute — concept, create, schedule — a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Tower 28 Beauty's marketing objectives and target audience.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor social media metrics to track the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with social media trends and best practices to ensure our brand remains at the forefront of industry developments.
  • Maintain consistency in brand messaging, voice, and aesthetics across all social media channels. Develop and enforce social media guidelines, ensuring compliance with brand values, tone, and visual identity.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, including product launches, promotions, giveaways, and collaborations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Create engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop high-quality graphics, photos, videos, and written content.

Community Management

  • Build and nurture a vibrant online community of brand enthusiasts by proactively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful conversations. Monitor social media channels for customer feedback, complaints, or inquiries, and ensure timely and professional responses.

 Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor social media metrics, analyze campaign performance, and generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media efforts. Provide actionable recommendations to optimize content, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate key insights, trends, and recommendations to the marketing team and senior management.

Who You Are:
  • 3-4 years’ experience managing social in-house at a high-growth beauty brand
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA and open to being hybrid (we’re 2 days a week in office for now!)
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and managing social media content strategy, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Canva) and video editing software (e.g., CapCut)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar, and ability to adapt to different brand tones
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
  • Strong understanding of beauty and skincare trends, ingredients, and consumer preferences
  • Strong content storytelling, creation, and copywriting skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous people management experience preferred
