What You’ll Be Doing

General Marketing

  • Manage the marketing calendar including maintaining and updating launches and associated promotional activity by channel.
  • Manage assets and help develop go to market decks for key launches and initiatives to markets.
  • Execute all partnership operations including product shipments, calendaring, and asset coordination. 
  • Ship materials and products for various brand, influencer, and retailer programs.
  • Help conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, key ingredients, and T28 point of difference
  • Help create briefs and manage deliverables.

Retail Marketing

  • Help create and plan innovative in-store events to drive retail sales from the event concept through decor through execution.
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for the field team; communicating new product launches, viral social content + press articles, providing product information, responding to ad hoc requests, and capturing key insights.
  • Support the development of a quarterly “what’s happening” deck + in-store rollout plans for new product launches.
  • Distribute tools to the field including education materials, playbooks, and more.
  • Review and approve field car stock + gratis orders, ensuring the budget is not exceeded. 

Events

  • Ideate new concepts for both IRL + virtual events including trade shows, community events, influencer events, and masterclasses to bring the DNA of the T28 brand to life.
  • Oversee execution of all events (influencer, retail, community, PR, etc.) from developing the brief and run-of-show through logistics coordination and post-mortem recap.
  • Help manage budget and reconcile all event expenses.
  • PO Creation and management of invoice processing and payment to vendors.
  • Ability to independently transport yourself to and from events, venue site visits, etc.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs as required for job tasks and responsibilities

PR

  • Act as day-to-day point of contact for PR agency to support brand storytelling.
  • Compile and share all press materials with agency including launch toolkit, press releases, product fact sheets.
  • Reactively respond to all incoming product requests and proactively flag any viral influencer content or newsworthy mentions. 
  • Share all press hits + awards with the team in Slack in real time.
  • Work cross-functionally with social team to brief all needs (i.e. request to post award nominations on Instagram with a call to action to vote for T28!) 
  • Help create briefs and manage deliverables.

Who You Are

  • 1+ years of marketing experience 
  • A positive + motivated individual that gets energy from a fast-paced startup environment
  • Open to wearing many hats to learn + grow within the organization (a ‘no task is too small’ spirit!)
  • A highly detail-oriented taskmaster who loves a good checklist + challenge
  • Love to collaborate with others and have strong interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about beauty and has their pulse on trends
  • Strong copywriting skills are a plus
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA and open to being hybrid (we’re 3 days a week in office)

What You’ll Be Doing
As the HR Director, you will lead and optimize our HR functions to support our expanding team and business objectives. You'll build trusted relationships with leaders and employees, ensuring our HR strategies align with organizational goals. This role is crucial in driving our talent strategy, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting the growth and development of our team. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in West LA.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition and Management

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and extending offers to candidates
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding
  • Develop and implement policies to enhance team effectiveness and overall employee well-being

Employee Relations and Development

  • Build trusted relationships across all levels, providing HR advice and resolving employee issues
  • Design and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and career development plans
  • Promote a culture of continuous feedback and professional growth through training and development initiatives

Organizational Development and Strategy

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and address organizational challenges, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and update policies, procedures, and HR strategies to support company growth and employee satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics (e.g., employee NPS, retention), using data to recommend improvements and support decision-making

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Oversee and enhance HR systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll) to maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor regulations and employment laws

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in a startup or small business environment
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and programs that support business objectives
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and complex HR issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities
  • Strong team player and work ethic

What You’ll be Doing
The Sr. Manager of Regulatory Affairs will spearhead all regulatory compliance and safety reviews for the brand’s new product development launch calendar while maintaining compliance across the existing product portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring that all our beauty products meet local, national, and international regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the beauty industry's regulatory landscape, including MOCRA, international registration, and a strong background in quality assurance and control. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, product development, and brand management, to ensure that all products are safe, effective, and fully compliant in all markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance & Leadership: Lead the development and maintenance of the global regulatory affairs strategy, ensuring compliance with national and international standards for new and existing product portfolios.
  • New Product Development: Spearhead regulatory compliance and safety reviews for all new product launches, ensuring alignment with global regulatory requirements and brand-specific no-no lists. Identify and recommend critical safety and efficacy tests to substantiate product claims and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Existing Product Portfolio: Oversee and maintain regulatory compliance for the existing product portfolio, ensuring adherence to brand blacklists, retailer requirements, and international distribution standards.
  • Certification Management: Manage the process of obtaining and renewing product certifications (e.g., organic, cruelty-free, vegan) while ensuring global compliance
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive regulatory documentation, including raw material data, clinical testing results, and compliance reports, ensuring records are ready for audits
  • Project Management: Manage regulatory timelines, participate in project meetings, and provide updates to leadership to ensure timely completion of regulatory requirements
  • Supplier & Manufacturer Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure regulatory and quality standards are met for raw materials, finished goods, and packaging
  • Quality Assurance Collaboration: Partner with PD & Packaging to address quality assurance challenges, implement solutions, and ensure compliance with packaging, labeling, and marketing claims standards
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate regulatory risks associated with new product development and ongoing production, ensuring continuous compliance
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Integrate regulatory considerations into product development and marketing strategies through close collaboration with Product Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Legal teams
  • Global Compliance Monitoring: Monitor global regulatory changes and proactively advise on potential impacts to the product portfolio, ensuring compliance.
  • Packaging & Label Compliance: Review, approve, and submit label copy for packaging to ensure global compliance. This process encompasses evaluating translations, artwork, and product marketing claims for accuracy and adherence to international regulations. Coordinate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals, ensuring all packaging elements meet legal requirements across diverse markets.
  • Budget Oversight: Oversee regulatory and international registration budgets

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of regulatory affairs experience, particularly in cosmetics, skincare, or personal care products
  • In-depth knowledge of global cosmetic regulations, including FDA, EU Cosmetic Regulation, and international labeling and packaging compliance
  • Proven experience in managing regulatory submissions and obtaining product certifications (e.g., organic, cruelty-free, vegan)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex regulatory information to different audiences
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of balancing regulatory requirements with the brand’s growth strategy
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively across departments and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiar with regulatory databases and software
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA

What You’ll be Doing
The Demand & Retail Planning Manager plays a crucial role in developing accurate forecasts at both the channel and SKU levels to drive sales and maintain optimal inventory. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in forecasting and demand planning, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain processes. They excel in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

This is a full-time role, with a hybrid work schedule based in West LA. This role will report directly to the VP of Operations and work closely with VP of Sales and VP of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create retail sales plans by SKU by retailer taking into consideration market trends, historical data, and customer demand; track and report retailer sell thru vs forecasts 
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to build new product launch forecasts based on aligned assumptions, drive forecast reviews before launch and adjust as required after launch
  • Manage all aspects of demand management, from new product forecast set-up to forecast monitoring taking into consideration 
  • Create demand plans at the SKU level to maintain proper inventory to meet demand requirements, proactively communicate demand changes and inventory impacts to the supply planning team.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to capture relevant sales drivers into the demand plan
  • Track operating results (retailer fill rates), and propose process improvements to provide optimal fulfillment methods
  • Ability to take into consideration various business scenarios in forecasting (e.g., door plans, multiple exposures, promotional plans, launch scenarios)
  • Update and circulate weekly and monthly business performance reports to key stakeholders
  • Participate in annual budget and reforecast process with Finance


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field 
  • Strong analytical skills: must feel comfortable working with multiple sources of data and information to identify relevant insights and problem solve
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in Supply Chain, out of which 3-5 years forecasting/ demand planning in Beauty or CPG preferred
  • Knowledge of, and experience with ERPs and data processing tools
  • Microsoft Office / Google Workspace – intermediate / advanced level
  • Expert knowledge in distribution and inventory management techniques, processes and policies
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, able to successfully manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously
  • Ability to build strong relationships and tactfully navigate multiple cross-functional, matrixed stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and quick to react and respond to changes
  • Balance between operational and strategic planning, ability to translate strategic vision into tactically executed actions
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA
