WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As an Ecommerce Coordinator, you will be supporting the Ecommerce team and website operations.

DAILY

  • Web Merchandising: Own the product catalog, merchandising strategy + ppage setup / refresh for new product launches, product updates, site refreshes, promotions, etc 
  • Web Operations: monitor site performance including – ux functionality, mobile friendliness + site speed, QA check & review site regularly to identify and resolve issues.
  • Content Management: Onboarding + assisting with catalog maintenance for 3rd party marketplace vendors. 
  • Reporting: KPI tracking and analysis for website performance, product sales, and CX. Analyze return data + report on trends and status.
  • Customer Support: Troubleshooting customer order issues and support cx + community management teams to answer, support and/or modify orders, shipments, payment and return processes, and KPI reporting. 

This is a Full-Time position based in Los Angeles and requires IRL work multiple times a week or schedule alignment with EST, MST, or PST time zone.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 1+ years’ experience working with Shopify and in a customer-facing customer service role
  • Excel Skills – you are comfortable using VLOOKUP and pivot tables
  • Hustle – resourcefulness, can-try-attitude, out of the box thinking 
  • Ownership – positive attitude when faced with obstacles and the willingness to develop alternative approaches to overcome them

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As a Sales & Education Coordinator, you will be responsible for training in-store associates and inspiring Tower 28 customers. You will build and maintain strong relationships with our retail partners as well as engage with customers and other brand partners. You will successfully plan and execute in-store events, while delivering weekly and monthly sales targets. You’ll approach your business with KAIZEN – a mindset of always making small, ongoing positive changes to improve your strategy.

The Sales & Education Coordinator role is part of the field sales team, reporting directly to our Central Senior Account Executive or Regional Sales Manager (depending on location). In order to be considered, candidates must live in one of the following territories:

East: Boston, Toronto, NYC, NJ, Miami, Central FL, South FL 

West: Seattle, North LA, West LA, Orange County, San Diego

Central: Chicago, Dallas

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Achieve Tower 28 sales targets & increase brand awareness in multiple Sephora retail locations within an assigned territory.

Deliver best-in-class client care.

Create a call cycle that supports specific needs by door, while always being ready to course correct to ensure productivity.

Create opportunities to deliver on the floor, backstage, and cluster brand trainings. Assist with or conduct elevated brand trainings when needed.

Track sales and training performance. Communicate any opportunities to your manager and collaborate to create a solution-based plan.

Partner with direct manager to create, plan, & execute successful retail events across multiple doors in an assigned market.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key leadership in store. Leverage those relationships to ensure Tower 28 stays top of mind with our retail partners.

Make sure we are always looking our best in store! Cleaning shelves, stocking, and maintaining all brand merchandising will be on your daily to-do list.

Manage and communicate any stock or merchandising opportunities to the in-store team and, if necessary, your direct manager.

WHO YOU ARE: EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Cosmetic Account Coordinator or an elevated role at Sephora.
  • Strong Sephora background with a proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Commitment to work a flexible retail schedule – days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Transportation with the ability to travel daily, within an assigned market.
  • Experience planning, leading, and executing successful in-store events.  
  • Comfortable using basic technology and possess a smartphone.
  • Available full-time (40 hours a week) and be able to work on the sales floor for extended periods (up to 8 hours a day).
  • Although rare, must have the ability to support other markets - resulting in a possible overnight stay.

What You’ll Be Doing

Are you ready to bring your love for beauty products to the vibrant world of Tower 28 Beauty? We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Coordinator to join our Product Development team. In this essential role, we need someone with not just excellent organizational skills but also a genuine passion for all things beauty. The ideal candidate should be skilled at handling multiple tasks, exhibit a meticulous attention to detail, and a contagious enthusiasm for providing support whenever needed.

This position is based in Los Angeles and requires IRL work multiple times a week.

Key Duties

Supporting the PD team in their day-to-day functions:

  • Attend weekly lab and cross-functional meetings for current and future developments; take meeting notes as necessary.
  • Supervise the tracking, receiving, labeling, and shipping of samples, benchmarks, and components.
  • Maintain departmental digital files and documents in an organized system for easy access and retrieval.
  • Schedule meetings with labs, manufacturers, and/or suppliers.

Quality Assurance: approving production reorder batches for core products + maintain formula masters

Manage PD closet + storage archives: maintain and keep organized in-house library of lab samples, masters, competitive products, and benchmarks

Coordinate product testing and maintain regulatory archives:

  • Facilitate 3rd party testing (sending bulk, follow up with lab, archive reports)
  • Manage product dossiers
  • Update Mecca CIF
  • Health Canada registration:

Handle logistics related to shipping and receiving departmental packages

Coordinate and conduct internal testing panels for new product development, gathering feedback for improvement

Conduct analysis of competitors' products to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for the company's product development strategy.

Track and manage cross functional department sample needs

Work cross-functionally with marketing and DTC:

  • Monitor and respond to customer ratings and reviews, addressing any concerns or feedback related to the products
  • Provide regular reports on industry trends and market developments to inform strategic decisions
  • Handle internal inquiries and questions related to product and ensure prompt and accurate responses

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of full time work experience
  • Passion for product and passion for staying current on industry trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional communication.
  • Highly organized, agile, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Google Drive + Microsoft Suite
  • High-energy, very detail-oriented, with great follow-through skills
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills; deadline-driven a must
  • Accurate and able to proof your own work

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive growth. You will oversee all aspects of social media management, including content creation, community management, and analytics tracking. You will play a key role in shaping the brand's online presence and executing effective social media campaigns across various platforms.

This position is remote/in-office hybrid and is based in Century City, California. This role will report directly to the Director of Consumer Engagement and will manage our content interns and coordinator(s).

This role requires a creative mindset, a deep understanding of social media trends, strong communication skills, and a passion for the beauty industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and execute — concept, create, schedule — a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Tower 28 Beauty's marketing objectives and target audience.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor social media metrics to track the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with social media trends and best practices to ensure our brand remains at the forefront of industry developments.
  • Maintain consistency in brand messaging, voice, and aesthetics across all social media channels. Develop and enforce social media guidelines, ensuring compliance with brand values, tone, and visual identity.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, including product launches, promotions, giveaways, and collaborations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Create engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop high-quality graphics, photos, videos, and written content

Community Management

  • Build and nurture a vibrant online community of brand enthusiasts by proactively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful conversations. Monitor social media channels for customer feedback, complaints, or inquiries, and ensure timely and professional responses.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor social media metrics, analyze campaign performance, and generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media efforts. Provide actionable recommendations to optimize content, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate key insights, trends, and recommendations to the marketing team and senior management.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of social media experience, inclusive of leading strategy
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA and open to being hybrid (we’re 2 days a week in office for now!)
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and managing social media content strategy, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Canva) and video editing software (e.g., CapCut)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar, and ability to adapt to different brand tones
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
  • Strong understanding of beauty and skincare trends, ingredients, and consumer preferences
  • Strong content storytelling, creation, and copywriting skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous people management experience preferred
  • A positive + motivated individual that gets energy from a fast-paced startup environment
  • Open to wearing many hats to learn + grow within the organization (a ‘no task is too small’ spirit!)
  • A highly detail-oriented taskmaster who loves a good checklist + challenge
