We want to push the boundaries of what beauty should be: a mix of high quality, high standards, and high levels of fun. We want to be a beauty big sister, who knows what’s right (clean, non-toxic, vegan, cruelty-free) but also knows how to have a good time (clean beauty doesn’t have to be so serious!).

The Senior Graphic Designer at Tower 28 will play a key role in evolving the brand’s graphic identity. This role will be responsible for refining and differentiating the typographic and graphic expression of the brand.
We seek an uncompromisingly sharp eye, who can balance fastidious attention to detail with bold, striking visuals. You will evolve and update the brand’s graphic guidelines, bringing uniformity to a multi-sku packaging system, owning the point of sale retail fixtures for the brand’s retail presences, creating unique and memorable PR packaging experiences, and stand-out novel brand assets for events.
This hybrid role requires 3 days in office in Santa Monica, and reports directly to our VP of Creative.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and enforce brand guidelines and brand codes across all graphic work
- Lead and execute design on a wide range of assets: retail point of sale display, product packaging, press packaging, signage, mailers
- Concept and create packaging for beauty products— with innovative structures, eye-catching graphics and a commitment to sustainable solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Marketing, and Merchandising
- Work closely with vendors, printers, and engineers to bring designs to life with precision and polish
- Mentor junior designers
What You Bring
- 7+ years of design experience, ideally in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle
- A passionate typographer with a deep knowledge and geeky predilection for hierarchy, systems and type that talks.
- A sharp eye, elevated taste, and a passion for creating standout work
- A portfolio that showcases your unique graphic finger print and stand-out execution
- Previous experience with beauty retail fixtures and graphics especially at Sephora
- Deep understanding of print production, dielines, specialty finishes (foil, embossing, UV), and sustainable, recyclable and home-compostable materials
- Exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects with grace
- A self-starter attitude, collaborative spirit, and a love of design, culture, and branding
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); bonus points for 3D rendering tools like ArtiosCAD, Adobe Substance 3D or Blender
