WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As an Ecommerce Coordinator, you will be supporting the Ecommerce team and website operations.

DAILY

  • Web Merchandising: Own the product catalog, merchandising strategy + ppage setup / refresh for new product launches, product updates, site refreshes, promotions, etc 
  • Web Operations: monitor site performance including – ux functionality, mobile friendliness + site speed, QA check & review site regularly to identify and resolve issues.
  • Content Management: Onboarding + assisting with catalog maintenance for 3rd party marketplace vendors. 
  • Reporting: KPI tracking and analysis for website performance, product sales, and CX. Analyze return data + report on trends and status.
  • Customer Support: Troubleshooting customer order issues and support cx + community management teams to answer, support and/or modify orders, shipments, payment and return processes, and KPI reporting. 

This is a Full-Time position based in Los Angeles and requires IRL work multiple times a week or schedule alignment with EST, MST, or PST time zone.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 1+ years’ experience working with Shopify and in a customer-facing customer service role
  • Excel Skills – you are comfortable using VLOOKUP and pivot tables
  • Hustle – resourcefulness, can-try-attitude, out of the box thinking 
  • Ownership – positive attitude when faced with obstacles and the willingness to develop alternative approaches to overcome them
  • Analytical Skills – as evidenced by problem solving capabilities and previous ownership of analytical tasks and projects

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING


As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive growth. You will oversee all aspects of social media management, including content creation, community management, and analytics tracking. You will play a key role in shaping the brand's online presence and executing effective social media campaigns across various platforms.


This position is remote/in-office hybrid and is based in Century City, California. This role will report directly to the Director of Consumer Engagement and will manage our content interns and coordinator(s).


This role requires a creative mindset, a deep understanding of social media trends, strong communication skills, and a passion for the beauty industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and execute — concept, create, schedule — a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Tower 28 Beauty's marketing objectives and target audience.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor social media metrics to track the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with social media trends and best practices to ensure our brand remains at the forefront of industry developments.
  • Maintain consistency in brand messaging, voice, and aesthetics across all social media channels. Develop and enforce social media guidelines, ensuring compliance with brand values, tone, and visual identity.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, including product launches, promotions, giveaways, and collaborations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Create engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop high-quality graphics, photos, videos, and written content

Community Management

  • Build and nurture a vibrant online community of brand enthusiasts by proactively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful conversations. Monitor social media channels for customer feedback, complaints, or inquiries, and ensure timely and professional responses.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor social media metrics, analyze campaign performance, and generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media efforts. Provide actionable recommendations to optimize content, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate key insights, trends, and recommendations to the marketing team and senior management.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of social media experience, inclusive of leading strategy
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA and open to being hybrid (we’re 2 days a week in office for now!)
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and managing social media content strategy, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Canva) and video editing software (e.g., CapCut)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar, and ability to adapt to different brand tones
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
  • Strong understanding of beauty and skincare trends, ingredients, and consumer preferences
  • Strong content storytelling, creation, and copywriting skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous people management experience preferred
  • A positive + motivated individual that gets energy from a fast-paced startup environment
  • Open to wearing many hats to learn + grow within the organization (a ‘no task is too small’ spirit!)
  • A highly detail-oriented taskmaster who loves a good checklist + challenge

This is a full-time role, with a hybrid work schedule based in West LA. This role will report directly to the Director of Marketing and help manage our marketing coordinator. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Marketing

  • Concept and execute marketing strategies for brand campaigns and product launches with a strong focus on storytelling
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Sales, Social, and Product Development teams to develop highly-effective, integrated campaigns that speak to our audience and maintain consistency with our overall voice and brand visuals
  • Help identify, concept, and execute brand partnerships that drive growth and expand brand presence
  • Partner with Director of Marketing to create and manage the year-long marketing calendar (campaign moments, events, partnerships, sampling, merch, promotions)
  • Partner with Product Development to identify product gaps and opportunities, and develop the product’s go-to-market strategy, ensuring messaging is on-brand, differentiated, and resonates with customers
  • Help develop product playbooks to align on messaging among internal and external partners
  • Write detailed design briefs while overseeing the creation of impactful copy, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and communication objectives

Retail Marketing

  • Serve as a key marketing resource to retail accounts by ensuring Sales teams and Account Executives are equipped with the right resources and education to drive in-store success
  • Partner with the Sales and Creative teams to tell our brand and product stories successfully in a retail setting 
  • Oversee visual merchandising, sampling, and in-store eventing strategies, tactics, and implementation

Events

  • Lead eventing strategy (influencer, retail, community) to bring the DNA of Tower 28 to life
  • Ideate new concepts for events and oversee the run-of-show, budgeting, and implementation to ensure event objectives are met

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-8 years of full-time work experience in brand and/or product marketing
  • Enthusiasm for scaling brands in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tell compelling narratives across various channels and contexts
  • Creative mindset and enjoys brainstorming and exploring new ways to bring the brand to life
  • Demonstrated success in growing brand awareness, engagement, and community
  • Passion for following consumer and cultural insights
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, as a hands-on collaborator
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities
  • Ideally has managed others in the past (associates, coordinators, interns)
  • Strong team player

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Designer role will help with the concepting and execution of creative work throughout the business. From ads and emails to photoshoots, packaging and partnership assets, this person will help tackle all things design and and play a role in shaping the brand and becoming a key contributor to the Creative team. We are looking for someone who is creative, extremely organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, and a great team player.

This is a full-time role, with a hybrid work schedule based in West LA. This role will report directly to the Creative Director. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support design and maintenance on all creative aspects of brand including email and ads, packaging, photoshoots, eventing and partnership assets, visual merchandising, merch, PR boxes
  • Understand Tower 28’s brand personality and purpose to create on-brand, innovative, and creative design solutions that speak to our customer
  • Know the brand colors, fonts, assets, layouts but continue to innovate in ways that are still core to Tower 28
  • Work with the Creative Director to ensure creative materials represent the collective brand vision and help to further the brand’s strategic direction
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Ecomm teams to ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints
  • Quickly develop concept mockups to visualize new ideas in context
  • Manage your own schedule and approval processes to deliver polished design solutions on time
  • Engage in team building to foster creativity and collaboration

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-6 years of full-time work experience, in-house or agency (exact title will reflect experience)
  • Solid understanding of design, copy, and traditional/digital/web best practices
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and smaller budgets
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages
  • Ability to analyze problems, anticipate consequences and raise obstacles to successfully complete projects
  • Strong desire for innovation and improvement, balanced with business priorities
  • Strong proficiency across a suite of creative tools including: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
  • Video editing, graphic design, motion graphic editing skills preferred
  • Great organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
